Dentist Braces Colorado
Invisalign straightens your teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. It's virtually undetectable, which means hardly anyone will know that you're straightening your teeth.
The Invisalign System combines advanced 3-D computer graphics technology with 100-year-old science of orthodontics. Invisalign aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by your orthodontist. Each aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan.
When we remove your braces, we will begin the retention stage of your treatment. The retention phase lasts a lifetime. There is one set of retainers and one year of retention visits included in your treatment fee. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you've put in so far.
Treatment time obviously depends on each patient's specific orthodontic problem. In general, treatment times range from 12 to 36 months.
Most patients in braces will need to be seen every five to 10 weeks. Some may be required to visit more often.
Why should you see a orthodontic specialist?
Teeth, and sometimes entire facial structures, are permanently changed by orthodontic treatment. It is important that the treatment be appropriate and properly completed. Orthodontic specialists have extensive and specialized training that enables them to provide their patients with professional, personalized treatments.
